Telehealth Devices

Overview

Telehealth is the delivery of many aspects of health information, prevention, monitoring, and medical care via a technology-based virtual platform. Telemedicine is the largest segment of telehealth, which is the fastest expanding industry of health care. Telemedicine is described as the practice of medicine via an electronic link from a distance. Within the realm of telemedicine, there are distinctions to be made. In practice, most hospital-based health-care delivery is doctor-to-doctor, with competent specialists offering care to rural, international, or non-specialist physicians. Patient-to-doctor medical care, on the other hand, is a developing business, and patients can reach physicians via telemedicine through direct-to-consumer services. Synchronous, asynchronous, and remote monitoring are the three types of telemedicine services. The dissemination of health information in real time is referred to as synchronous. This enables for a real-time conversation with the patient or provider in order to provide medical advice. A Facilitated Virtual Encounter is another sort of live (or synchronous) telemedicine visit (FVV). When the patient is at an accessible location (e.g., a clinic) with diagnostic equipment and the medical provider is at a remote location, this is an example of an assisted virtual visit. A tele facilitator (e.g., a medical assistant, a nurse, etc.) collects objective measurements using equipment (e.g., a digital stethoscope, a thermometer, a pulse oximeter, etc.) and sends the information to the provider. Asynchronous telemedicine refers to the "store-and-forward" method, in which a patient or physician gathers medical history, pictures, and pathology reports and sends them to a specialist physician for diagnosis and treatment. Finally, remote patient monitoring entails a constant assessment of a patient's clinical status, whether through direct video monitoring or distant examination of tests and photos. Newer technology, including as mobile apps for mobile devices, enable a larger range of telehealth options.

Features

Integrated Scheduling

Telehealth technology should relieve, not add to, the pressure on office employees. As a result, our solution is integrated with the practice's EHR or Patient Management (PM) system.

Eligibility Verification

When it comes to getting compensated for telehealth, state regulations and payer policies vary greatly. Our solution runs each patient's information through an eligibility Rules Engine to guarantee they are insured, ensuring that providers get reimbursed.

Compliance Documentation

Most physicians don't want to deal with the legal paperwork and patient permission obligations that come with telemedicine, so we handle it all for them.

Support

Our solution is simple to use, but if any questions arise, we are available to assist our customers. We provide high-touch support to both patients and providers, as well as professional reimbursement advice.
