The candidate must have a strong foundation in electronics and embedded hardware design. He/She should be passionate about designing robust and efficient hardware systems and collaborating with firmware and software teams to bring complete embedded products to life.

Qualifications:

• BE/B Tech/ME in Electronics, Electrical, or a related discipline

Technical Skills:

• Experience in schematic design, PCB layout, and circuit simulation tools (e.g., Altium, KiCAD, OrCAD)
• Proficient in working with analog and digital circuits, power electronics, and signal conditioning
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and processor-based system design
• Knowledge of high-speed PCB design, EMI/EMC practices, and thermal management
• Experience with hardware bring-up, prototyping, and validation testing
• Ability to use oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other debugging tools
• Familiarity with communication interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, etc.

Good to have:

• Understanding of DFT (Design for Testability) and DFM (Design for Manufacturability)
• Knowledge of power supply design, battery management systems, or wireless hardware (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa)
• Exposure to compliance and certification processes (e.g., CE, FCC, RoHS)
• Experience working closely with firmware teams for system integration

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded hardware solutions from concept to production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, software, and mechanical engineers
• Perform circuit analysis, simulations, and design reviews to ensure performance and reliability
• Conduct hardware validation, testing, and debugging using lab instruments
• Maintain documentation including schematics, BOMs, layout files, and test reports
• Support manufacturing and help resolve issues related to production and field deployment
